Appliance Controls are motorized devices that can be interfaced with home control system or they can operate independently. Below are a variety of devices that can be integrated into your home. Many of these devices are time and energy savers.

Temperature controllers for multiple heating systems

Gas fireplaces: turn your fireplaces on/off remotely or program it to come on automatically when outside temperature drops to a certain level.

Electronic door locks:  unlock or lock your doors from a phone at the touch of a button.  They operate just like apartment or condo front doors.

Automatic water faucets: can draw a bath at a preset time, turn on and off with a hand montion sensor.

Sprinkler systems:  home controller can assess the need before it executes a preset schedule, eg. It won't water if it has recently rained.

Automatic pool cleaners and chemical dispensers:  remembers to turn cleaner on after a day of swimming and starts the automatic pool cover if you forgot.

Motorized drapes, blinds and skylights: are excellent way to control the opening and closing of drapes, blinds and skylights. These motorized devices can be programmed to open and close at preset times. Drapes are usually used in home theatre rooms to give you that movie house feel.

Overhead garage doors:  the smart home will close your garage door if you forgot.  You can also open it by phone should anyone need access to your house while you are not there.

HVAC:  smart thermostats that can execute preset macros by a home control systems and are combatable with all types of furnace/heating systems.

Interior and exterior temperature sensors: can trigger specific events within the home.
